What a spoiled little boy!! He must have made a deal with the Easter Bunny :) He was not really sure about all of this but after a few minutes he was really having fun!
It did not take him long to figure out how to open the eggs!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Jaxon coloring on his easter egg with crayons, he was not very interested in the whole thing but it was still fun for me :) Josh even joined in on the fun and made a special egg just for Jaxon!! The two eggs that Jaxon colored, you cant see the yellow one very well but it looks just as awesome as the red one.

Willow Park

After we went and visted our grandparents we went to Willow Park since it was finally warm enough!! I was hoping that there would be some baby ducks but we did not see any. Jaxon's favorite part was the duck pond. We stood him up by the fence and he was as happy as could be. Jaxon's new excited face, what a funny kid. He really loved those ducks. There were two ducks that were fighting and he thought that that was the funniest thing ever.

After we walked through all the animals we wanted to take him to the park, hel loves to swing!!

For some reason Jaxon thought it was funny to bend himself over, he is tougher than me, that would have made me so sick!!

Grandpa's Tractor

We went to visit G.Grandma and Grandpa Thompson for Easter and decided it would be fun to take Jaxon out to see the tractors. He loved them!! He really likes anything that has a steering wheel on it but he was having a ball on the tractor.

Birthday Party Cont.

This is the cake (after me and josh each had a bite) Jaxon wanted NOTHING to do with it. I even tried to give him a little piece of cake after the fact and he would not eat it. I guess I traumatized the poor kid. Oh man, it's so tough to be so old!!
I wish I knew what he was thinking sometimes, well maybe not :)

Birthday Party Cont.

He was not sure what to think about all this cake in front of him! He is a very clean boy, just like his dad, he does not like anything on his hands.
All Jaxon wanted was the candle, he did not give a darn about the cake itself.
He really loves this wagon, we have gone for a walk everyday since Saturday.
I just love this picture, he just looks like such a little man. I had a shirt made for him that said #1 Birthday Boy and then we bought him this cute hat that said "fun to be one"

Jaxons Birthday Party

So I am a little behind in getting these posted but better late then never right? We had a party for the birthday boy at my moms house and it turned out so good. Jaxon sure has a lot of people that love him, he got spoiled!! It's just a good thing that I made him a playroom as part of his birthday otherwise we would not have anywhere to put all of his toys! He got everything from sand toys (for the sandbox that we have yet to finish) to trucks to a wagon!! He loves every single toy that he got and we just want to say thank you to everyone for coming and making his day so special!!

His cake turned out so cute-I was a little nervous I just handed them the napkin that had the theme for the party on it and told them I wanted it to match that. And I think that it turned out way good!!
My happy little guy, his smile just melts my heart.
I am not really sure what this face is all about but I just love it!! I think that it is so funny!!

Living Planet Aquarium Part 2

Me and Jaxon having a ball at the aquarium. Yes-Josh really just touched a STING RAY!! I was way to scared, the thought of it gives me the chills.

Jaxon absolutely loved the Jelly Fish!!!This is probably the cutest little fish I have ever seen, I love love love the bright yellow. I wish I could have brought him home with me.
These fish were really cool to, they were a light blue with yellow on the ends of the fins. This tank was probably Jaxon's fav. there were tons of fish in there.
We had such a good time at the Aquarium and we cant wait to go back :)

Living Planet Aquarium

To kick off Jaxon's first birthday we wanted to take him down to the Living Planet Aquarium. He has a beta fish named Tank in his room and every morning we feed him and Jaxon just loves to watch him swim all around so we thought it might be something that he would enjoy. It was a lot of fun some of the exhibits he wanted nothing to do with, like the frogs and the snakes, because he is still to little to know what he is looking for. He really enjoyed all the different kinds of fish though and it was a lot of fun.

I just love this little creature! I want one :) The dark red is so pretty. This is the biggest starfish I have ever seen.
I think that Ocotupus are about the most distgusting creature EVER!!! And this picture proves my point! Just look at that huge nasty thing!!!!

What A Bummer!!

So my new car was a bust :( We picked it up on Thursday night and everything was great. Friday me and my mom and my sister went down to the scrapbook expo, well I dropped them off and I was about 5 miles from home and the car just dies while I am crusing down the road. I pulled off the side of the road somehow and turned it off and it started right back up, I was so frustrated!! So I called the dealership and they said to bring it over on Sat. and they would look at it. So Sat. morning I get Jaxon all loaded in the car and go to start it, it will turn over but it wont start!!!! I was so mad! Well long story short we got it over to the dealership and they can not find anything wrong with it so they are going to let us exchange our car for a different one :) I am pretty excited!

I gOt A nEw CaR!!

So my wonderfully awesome husband bought me a new car!!! 2002 Oldsmobile Alero!! I am so excited, I just wish that it was already for me to drive :( It is getting a part fixed and we can go get it on WEDNESDAY!!! We traded in our other car so they gave us a car to drive until we pick up the new for FREE!!! So right now I am driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber, it is so fun! I love it Josh says it looks like a stationwagon, but I totally do not agree. I will put up some pics tomorrow!

Being Sick Is NO Fun

Our poor little guy has his first ear infection and cold :( He has been such a trooper, a little grumpy of course but that is to be expected right?
