Cache County Fair & Rodeo

We went to the Fair & Rodeo with my parents this year. It was my dad's birthday and he had to cook dutch oven for all of the contestants that night so we headed over to Logan. Happy belated Birthday Dad!! We had a lot of fun and can I just say that my little cowboy was the cutest one there!! I bought him the cutest little cowboy boots (but I don't have a picture) and my mom bought him the cutest shirt!!

1. Grandpa will buy me a horse!

2. Grandma will buy me a hat!

3. Mom will be my biggest fan!

Jaxon does not look one bit happy, but he really was having fun, he loved the horses and the cows.

What a difference!

Jaxon is officially the owner of 4 pearly whites!! His two top teeth finally broke through, and it was not anything like when he got his bottom teeth. With the bottom ones I did not even know that he was getting teeth, they just showed up one day. The top ones he was so grumpy and if things were not exactly his way he would get so upset. Most of the day this is what he did, hang out on the couch with Teddy.

Dads Motorcycle

Jaxon absolutely loves dads motorcycle, there is only one problem. He is not content to just sit on it with dad anymore!! He thinks that he needs to climb up the gas tank so that he can reach the stereo and the handle bars. I think we have trouble on our hands!!!!

Walking or Riding?

Jaxon is now able to walk with his walker, but I guess sometimes we need to shake things up. He will sit down in his walker and push himself all around with his feet. He is really good at walking and he will even stand up by himself for a few seconds. I know that the little stinker could walk if he wanted to, he just does things his way.

Let me just say how much I love Smith's right now!!!! Double coupons are FANTASTIC!!!! This was my first real shoppong trip using any sort of double coupons or similiar things and now I must admit- I AM HOOKED FOR LIFE!!!!

Total before coupons- $128.00

Total after coupons- $30.11

That a savings of 78%, and it equalls out to be about .50 cents per item!!!! AWESOME!!!!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!!

Josh was able to get us tickets to a BEES game down in Salt Lake. We had really good seats 5th row on the 1st base line!! I had never been to a baseball game before so I was pretty excited!! Josh and Jaxon took their mits hoping that they could get a foul ball. No luck there but we did get Jaxon's mit signed by #16 Gary Patchett (shortstop). We had a blast!!

I put our drink down in the cupholder and Jaxon was just walking back and forth holding onto the seats in front of us and apparently he got thirsty. He just leaned right down to that drink and took what he wanted. It was so funny!!

Griffiths Family Reunion

We went up Logan Canyon to hang out with the Griffiths Family and we had a blast!! It was fun to escape for a day or two and just hang out!!

Firework Fun

We did not do to much this year for the 4th. That morning we went and played at the park with our friends and had a litttle picnic and Josh played some softball. We were going to go to the Crusie-In but our little man was quite grumpy. So we came home and had a firework show in our driveway during daylight so Jaxon could see them before he went to bed. It was a very fun day.

Air Show

We went down to the Air Show on Sunday and it was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I loved it. We actually went on Saturday too (that was not the original plan we just sort of ended up there) but we had to leave before the Thunderbird Show so we decided to go back so we could see them and man am I glad we did. Jaxon loved the airplanes I thought that he would be scared because they are noisy, nope he just laughed and had a good ol time. He was following them in the sky and would point to them, he really enjoyed it. We tried to keep ear plugs in his ears but he was not liking that idea and he had other plans for them. Anyway the Thunderbird part was my very favorite!!! It was so cool, if you missed it you definitely need to go the next time they are here. They start the show off with a ceremony type thing and they have all the assistants come out and they do EVERYTHING in unison and it is all perfectly timed to music! Then they bring out the pilots and the assistants escort them to their plane. The pilots do everything in succession, starting with the first pilot down to the sixth. It was so cool. The tricks that they do were amazing. I about had a heart attack when they had two planes come flying towards each other at like a million miles an hour and they barely miss each other. Towards the end of the show they had to take a break because it started raining and the pilots could not see well enough but it cleared up and they were able to finish there show. It was such a fun day and I am so happy that we decided to go back!!!

For Sale

So Josh is spoiled and got a new set of clubs, which means we now have three sets at our house. Now we need to sell his old clubs. They are in really good shape other than that I dont know anything about them but if you are interested or know anyone who might be please let us know!! Thanks!!!

Graduation

I can not believe that my little sister graduated High School!! That makes me feel really old!! Way to go Jess!!!

Finally after 65 days of TRYING to buy a car- its over!!! We found a car that we were actually able to drive for more than 3 days!!! Who knew that that was how cars were supposed to work? Not us apparently.....

So Lucky!!

We are the luckiest parents ever!! Jaxon is working on 2 teeth right now (the front bottom two) and we had no idea!! He has not been grumpy or showed any other signs he was even getting any teeth!! He seriously has been so happy lately!! The only reason we even knew was because the other day he was eating a french fry and started to gag on it and so I reached in his mouth to try and grab it and what do you know there were 2 tiny little teeth poking through!!! I tried to get a picture but they are just barely through the gums plus he really was not to happy about that idea!

Jaxon's First Fishing Trip

Me and Josh have been wanting to go fishing lately so we decided today was the perfect day. It was so nice and warm and sunny when we left our house and by the time we got to the fishing spot it was all cloudy and windy. That is Utah weather for ya. Anyway we all caught one fish each and it was a lot of fun!!!

Jaxon really knew what he was supposed to be doing he would hold his pole and then he would reel in his line. That only lasted about ten minutes, but that is about 9 minutes longer than I thought. Josh caught the very first fish!!! Jaxon thought it was the funniest thing to see the fish flapping all over the place when we took it out of the water. He was laughing so hard.
And I caught the second one!!!
Josh let Jaxon help reel in the third fish, he actually did a really good job and reeled it in about half of the way!!! Way to go buddy!!!!
He really loved this fish cause when we took it out of the water he went CRAZY!!!! Jaxon literally about fell out of his chair because he was laughing so hard!!! Not to bad for his first fish huh?
