Kinley's First Camping Trip

Friday night we randomly decided that we wanted to go camping so we got all of our stuff packed up and headed out Saturday morning (labor day weekend) after Dustin's game. We stayed close and just went over to Newton Dam, it rained Saturday night, but Sunday was really nice. The dam is so low right now that it is quite the hike down to the water but Josh & Dustin had a great time fishing and actually caught quite a few.

Kinley all bundled up in her blanket taking a nap with Grandma Hales

My handsome little guy showing off his new sweater that grandma gave him

He was not happy about me making him take a picture with me

Poor girl!! Josh thought it would be funny to put his hat on her

and she hated it!! Bows are much better :)

It's a Kinley sandwich!!

Daddy's little Princess

What a goofy boy

I was determined to get a good picture of him... mission accomplished!
I had to be sneaky though!

I have about 30 pictures like this one, Jaxon and Grandma were taking pictures of each other.

Kinley slept so good in the trailer and our first camping trip was a success!!

Sharing

I guess the lesson of sharing has really sunk in with Jaxon. I walked out into the front room the other day and found this...when I asked Jaxon what he was doing he told me he just wanted to share his animals with Kinley.

Girls...

ARE SO MUCH FUN!!!!
I love my little girl so much and can't wait to do all the girly things with her!!!!

A HUGE Thank You

To the best sister E.V.E.R!!
Thank you for leaving your husband for 12 days to come back back and help us!!
Thank you to Uncle Chase for letting his woman leave him all alone in Cali!!
I know we all had tons of fun while you were here and we hope you did to!!

We love you and can't wait until we get to hang out again, this time we need Uncle Chase to come to!!!

Big Brother Jaxon

Such a proud big brother!
Jaxon loves Kinley so much and has been so good with her, he loves to help with everything and is always wanting to hold her and give her kisses!!

A goofy family picture

Coming Home..

After way to long in the darn hospital!! Luckily I was able to convince my doctor to let us come home Saturday afternoon, I was so done with hospitals. I didn't think that I would be nervous to bring Kinley home, after all we had done this once before, but I was way nervous!!

We had the perfect outfit picked out for Kinley to wear when she came home, and then she was so tiny that there was no way it was going to fit, she only weighed 5 lbs 11 oz when we came home. Luckily Aunt Jess went shopping for us and found this adorable little dress that was just perfect!!

Such a pretty little girl!

All ready to go home and see our little guy and get our family back together.

She looks so little in this giant car seat.

Aunt Jess and Jaxon made this super cute sign for us and had it out in the front yard when we got home.

Flowers and a card from Jess & Jaxon

Kinley's Birthday...

Started out like any other day, get up, get ready, take Jaxon to school... oh wait!!! We are having a baby today!!!! It was SO weird driving to the hospital knowing that we were going to meet our little princess today, I was a nervous wreck. We got to the hospital at 10:30 in the morning and got all checked in and then we waited....

At the hospital just waiting to get this show on the road, totally different experience this time around!!
After waiting in L&D for what seemed like forever, it was only about 3 hours, we finally headed back to the OR. During the c-section my doctor was talking to the nurses about her vacation that she had just got back from when we hear her say, I am not sure I can do this- my arm really hurts. That is not what you want to hear from your doctor, me and Josh just looked each other and I may have been freaking out a little. About a minute later we heard a beautiful sound- our little girl crying!! We did not realize that they were even to that point and it totally caught us off guard. Kinley was born at 1:42 and she is perfect!!

6 lbs. 3 oz.- Our doctor had told us that she thought she would be around 7.5 lbs so we were a little shocked that she was so little!

Not so sure what she thinks about this new place

Holding my little girl for the first time, love her so much all ready!!

On her way to the nursery with dad as her bodyguard.

First bath, dad said she was really good while they were washing her hair...

and then she got really really mad!!

All clean and dressed with a bow on my head.

I love this little girl so much!!

Such a proud daddy!

Jaxon the big brother holding Kinley for the first time, you can't see his shirt in this picture but it says bodyguard for my new little sister.

We are so happy that Kinley is here in our family and we can't wait to get on with our life and enjoy our little girl!!!

Let's Play...

Before The Big Day...

Josh & Jaxon went down to the BEES game with ATK, Jaxon was picked to participate in a horse race that they had out on the field, he didn't win but Josh said it was pretty funny to watch
Wednesday July 25th we went to the Splash Pad in Providence. Jaxon did not want anything to do with it at first but eventually warmed up to the idea and ended up having a blast!

Buddies for Life!!
After the Splash Pad we headed to the Zoo to see all of the animals, of course the Monkeys are our favorite.

My two favorite boys!

We sure love this kid!!

We did lots of other fun things like going to the truck pulls, fireworks, 4-wheeler rides, movies and sleep overs in the trailer with Jess. Now bring on the big day...
