Catch Up Post- Our Summer In Pictures

This is a major catch up post with a ton of pictures, here goes. 

Jaxon got a set of clubs for his birthday and we finally made it out to the golf course and had fun hitting some balls around. 

We went to the 4th of July parade in Logan with Grandma Lori, Jaxon had fun collecting all the candy 

Jaxon loves to take pictures with my camera and I must say for a 3 year old he does a pretty good job!

My parents picked up a bunch of fireworks in Wyoming and we had a fun night lighting them off.

Family Firework Fun! 

We put Jaxon in swimming lessons again this year, it was hard for me to send him out there all by himself but he did great and his teacher was awesome! 

We did a lot of fishing

Grandpa & Jaxon had a blast playing in the mud on the four wheelers at Newton Dam 

Our awesome friends let us go up to their gorgeous cabin for our 5th anniversary. It was so nice to just get away and spend some quality time with Josh. 

Of course we had to go to Yellowstone 

At the cabin they had a swing hanging from the rafters, I wish swinging didn't make me so sick because it was a blast swinging on that!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Well our little man turned 3, oh where did the time go?!?!

I made him this shirt to wear on the big day, it was perfect for the Toy Story 3 party that we has. 

 We let Jaxon pick an activity that he wanted to do and he picked bowling. 

 And then we decided that we should go fishing to!!

 We caught 7 fish in 2.5 hours and had so much fun!!

 We surprised him with a giant buzz lightyear balloon and he was SO excited! 

 Special birthday pancakes in the shape of a 3 with sprinkles and a candle, he was so happy!

We had a great party over at the Church with our families and Jaxon got so spoiled!! It was to funny when we started opening the gifts he would open it, look at it, put it on the floor and say in his little high pitched voice, thank you! now what's next?! We were all dying laughing!!

What We've Been Up To...

We went to Vegas in January so that Josh could go to the CES convention, we had a ton of fun! 

 Jaxon makes us laugh everyday with all the funny things that he does. Never a dull moment!

 We are loving the spring-ish weather we have been having and had our first campfire a few weeks ago. We also just bought us a travel trailer and can't wait to start camping and fishing!

 Somedays we have random photo shoots and capture the silly moments. 

 We play outside alot and Jaxon really likes to dress himself, hence the shorts with cowboy boots. 

 Josh took me out to Golden Spike for the first time in my life, even though it was pouring rain it was still a fun little family outing!

Lookin Good...

Things are lookin good around the Thompson house these days!! We finally got new windows and siding and I can not believe the difference, our house looks SOOOO much better!!! 

Before, nasty yellow wood siding that was peeling and just looked horrible. 

Front, half done. I considered leaving it like this just to see what people would say :)

It's also worth noting that it is super awesome to actually see out of our windows, the old ones had hard water stains all over them, they were awful. And our back door actually closes now without putting all your body weight behind it. Very nice!!

Now we just need to paint the door, you can't tell in the picture but it looks yellow next to the new white trim.

Oh and the shutters will be getting a fresh coat of white paint as well before they get put back up!  

East side all done. This side door will be getting a fresh coat of paint to. I see a lot of painting in our future, hopefully the weather cooperates. 

I will get a better after picture and post it. Our house finally looks as good on the outside as it does on the inside. I don't think I ever want to move!! 

Fishing

We went fishing at Newton Dam (10/8/10), it was a ton of fun!! Me & Jaxon were catching these little perch like crazy!! I even baited my hook and took my fish off!! Of course I was wearing gloves, I don't do guts!!

Catch Up Post

I am seriously slacking on this blog!! This is going to be a mighty long post! Here is what we have been up to since our last post. 

I may or may not have left my makeup down one day and this is the end result. Oops!!!!

 We went to the zoo and Jaxon really did love it, he was so excited to see the elephants and the zebra's, to bad mom and dad didn't know that the zebra's were not there anymore! 

 We played outside ALOT, and loved it! 

 We shot the birds through the window :) 

 I love spending my days with this kid! 

 We went to Bear Lake and played on the swing set. 

 Jaxon experienced the beach for the first time and he loved it!
